The Matching Capital can either be provided directly to Qualified Early-Stage Businesses i.e. Start-Ups, or indirectly through Qualified Early-Stage Investors which include venture capital funds, incubators and accelerators.
To qualify, Early-Stage Businesses and Investors must have a committed capital from qualified investor(s) (angel(s) or institution(s)). Early-Stage Businesses and Investors can then seek a matching participation from IM Capital (up to 50% matching of total outside capital, with a maximum ticket depending on the venture stage), thus sharing investors’ risk and adding to the company’s capital.
One of the main criteria for approving any co-investment is the involvement of a solid and experienced management team who have identified a creditable market niche with significant growth potential.
As for Early-Stage Investors which include venture capital funds, incubators and accelerators, eligibility will be contingent to the relevant information memorandum, the investment team experience, and investment process. Investment partners should sign a protocol of collaboration with IM Capital.
